Who's your fave local newscaster? not sportscaster...I like Kelly Sasso with Ch 4
Zeise
1:02
Has to be either Paul Maurtino or David Highfield! Those are my guys, great dudes and great at their jobs!
Bernard

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems you've softened your stance on using the #1 to take a RB rather than an OT.  Have you seen more of Harris or Etienne that makes you more optimistic on their NFL pedigree?  Also, wouldn't Etienne fit better into Matt Canada's system?  More motion, jet sweeps, etc?

I have a little bit and this is why - I think the Steelers need a home run hitter at running back and they have addressed a lot of their needs in free agency
Vince

Assuming the Steelers don’t take a quarterback in the later rounds, are there any quarterbacks in next year’s draft that the Steelers may be interested in?  Thanks Paul.
Zeise
1:03
Next year is going to be a tough year to find a quarterback
Mercury
1:03
Paul, have you watched Aaron Rodgers on Jeopardy? If so, what do you think?
Zeise
1:04
I thought he was fantastic to be honest. I didn’t think he had the personality for TV but he was wonderful

Hey Paul, Question. Is there a consensus Number 1 pick in NEXT year's MLBN draft? Seriously looking like we will secure that by May. I like Leiter this year.
Zeise
1:06
Elijah Green or Tamarr Johnson. But next year’s draft is said to be loaded so should be a chance for Pirates to get a few players
Mountain Gus

Who do you have in the Masters, Paul?  Spieth, Morikawa, or DJ?  Who is your longshot pick?
Zeise
1:06
Like I said before - DJ to win, In as my dark house
Hattie
1:06
Hi Paul, could Puig be a viable option if the Pirates sit Polanco this season while waiting for Olivia or someone else to develop?  Thank you.
Zeise
1:08
No no no no no and hell no

Who are your all-time best former players turned in-games analysts in each major sport?
Zeise

Baseball: AROD Football: Collinsowrth NBA: Barkley NHL: Edzo Golf: Azinger

Of the big four sports, which is the toughest to coach/manage?
Zeise
1:13
Probably the NHL. Those guys get fired at the drop of a hat and if the stars on a team decide you are done, you are done

Paul: wondering how Pitt drew Clemson two yrs in a row?
Zeise
1:14
Last year they scrapped all their schedules and did a one-year schedule adjusted for COVID year. Now they are back on the normal schedule in the 12-year cycle

Hello Paul.  With Hugley being suspended and a number of players leaving Pitt, how much blame if any should be put on Coach Capel?  It seems a number of people want to get rid of him, especially now that Sean Miller is available. I think Coach Capel is doing everything he can to resurrect Pitt basketball.  Thank you Paul.

It is a different world. Every team is experiencing that kind of stuff.

I envy the length of your approach shot? That would be my drive on my best day. Question: What day does Amanda drive the beer cart?
Rah Rah
1:18
Will Amanda be at the game today ?
Zeise
1:18
And right on cue....
Amanda
1:18
You and Walls are the laughingstock of the Nightly Sports Call. How dare you focus on drinking hurting the children? Shame shame shame.
Zeise
1:19
Amanda do you prefer Stoli, Kettle One or Ciroc? Asking for a friend!!

Did you hear that the state of North Carolina announced yesterday it is making Fridays during the ACC tournament a state holiday?
Zeise
1:19
You mean it isn’t already?

I read your chat last week and your stance of the Georgia voting rights billl was appalling. How dare you criticize a Jim Crow relic that suppresses the African American vote? Are you really that cruel dude?
Zeise
1:25
I’m black and I don’t see a single thing - other than ridiculous and idiotic woke conspiracy theories and ridiculous leaps of logic - that “suppresses voting” and especially none that suppresses people that look like me from voting. It is virtue signaling political theater and I’m glad it blew up in MLB’s face and they come off looking like tool bags. I’m worried, however, that I might not be able to finish my chat unless someone brings me water. Here is a helpful hint - before throwing nonsensical phrases like “Jim Crow like laws!” at least have a working knowledge of what the Jim Crow era was and what the laws were and then stop insulting the pioneers who fought through and prevailed over those laws. To compare a law that cuts a few days of early voting and requires an ID to “Jim Crow” is absurd

stupid question:  what does OTA stand for?  I am forever acronym handicapped...
Zeise
1:25
I’m fairly certain it is Organized Training Activity
Luke

Thoughts on Derek Shelton? I think he has been very unimpressive. To be honest he reminds me of Russell 2.0.
Zeise
1:26
You are asking a man to try and make chicken salad out of chicken you know what. It ain’t his fault he is trying to manage a minor league team
Amanda
1:26
Oh my husband who told you off on the air earlier hates you too. Shame shame shame shame shame
Zeise
1:28
No he doesn’t, he told me he loves me and thanks me for putting you in your place! He also asked me for a divorce attorney’s number but I can’t imagine why!!!! Oh and what is your favorite IPA
TP Hunter
1:28
Gotta love her!
Jeff
1:28
Is there a good therapist you could recommend for Amanda? And I am confused what does Walls mean?
Zeise
1:29
She has been shrieking at us for at least six months and still can’t figure out that his name is Rich Walsh. But that only adds to the fun!
