He did the right thing here and cleaned up that mess

Are you good with the DH in the National League?
Zeise
11:49
Yep I don’t ever need to see a pitcher hit again

Is Joe Starkey the weirdest person in Pittsburgh?
Zeise
11:50
I haven’t met everyone in Pittsburgh but he has to be in the conversation

Do you think Narduzzi knows who his starting quarterback is Sept. 1 after spring practice, or will the decision wait until the August workouts?
Zeise
11:51
Of course he does but he won’t tell us until the first week of the season and we may even have to wait for the game

I think that the Pens will let Malkin and Letang leave and sign Rust to a big contract......he is better than Malkin now and is about 5-7 years younger that Geno. They won't offer Letang enough to re-sign him.
Zeise
11:51
I don’t see that at all. I think Rust is the most likely to be gone

How is there going be Hall of Fame pitchers in the future if starters only go four innings? Will they all be relievers?
Zeise
11:53
This is going to be a great question and really interesting to watch play out, to be honest. I don’t have an answer. And the other thing is how will this affect salaries?

Jackson hasn't signed an extension.  Is Willis in play for the Ravens at 14?
Zeise
11:54
That is a great question. My gut says no but if they want to move on from Jackson because of his price tag, this would be a natural successor

Hi Paul,  If you owned a sport team who would you perfer to deal with a sport agent or a player’s mother?
Zeise
12:04
The agent, definitely

Is Scottie Scheffler going to win another major this year?
Zeise
12:05
Odds say no. He is really good and is playing really well. But the fields are so deep and talented it is hard to win two in a year

Paul, I had this conversion with some buds and would like your input:  Why aren't there cool nicknames in sports anymore, especially in baseball?  The Cobra, Pops, Doc (Ellis, Gooden) Oil Can Boyd, Shoeless Joe, Mookie; all we get are initials (AB) or obvious ones like Big Ben.

I have no idea. Maybe it is another thing millennials have ruined!

I keep reading that the Steelers will now spend a mid to late round pick on a QB. What is the point of doing that? Unless that guy is Tom Brady it seems like a waste of a pick to me. 3rd string QBs and camp arms can be found in the form of Undrafted Free Agency and guys other teams discard after the draft. The third guy doesn't even dress for the games or get many snaps in practice. If you end up having to play the guy for a meaningful number of reps your season is likely shot anyway. Am I wrong about this?
Zeise
12:06
I agree. If it isn’t one of the top five off the board it isn’t worth it

The Steelers have their anchor players on defense in Cam, TJ and Fitz. There is absolutely no one on offense that can be called an anchor, other than Najee. Can the Steelers be a real playoff threat with such meager talent on offense, and how long will it take for that to be fixed?
Zeise
12:07
They have some good young offensive linemen. They need receivers abd a tight end though
OK Happy Easter everyone!!!
