Hey Mr. Zeise thx for retweeing my tweet the other day. Glad you support my right wing viewpoints. Move to Florida buddy where you'll fit right in!
Zeise
1:23
Probably not because there are many things that are “right wing” and both “left wing” that I completely disagree with. I just wish all of you people would leave us alone to be free to live our lives as we see fit.

Biden Sucks. The Dems suck.

Ha Ha I see what you did. Don’t put words in my mouth, pal. However, if you add “at his job” to the first sentence I might concur!!

The problem with Acrisure is that it is one of those lab-created names that could be anything from a flea killer to a jock itch remedy. We should just call the stadium the "Big A" because after the first letter that name crashes and burns.

I’m sure there is something to be said about telling a corporate sponsor “hey we are abbreviating your name” but I am thinking it wouldn’t go over well!

Do you think Kenny Pickett has the chance to be a franchise QB?  Who would you compare him too in the NFL now?
Zeise
1:28
What does a franchise QB look like? How would you define it? Do I think he will be a successful QB? Yes, I do.

How soon after the All-Star game do the baseball players start switching teams? If I was buying a pitcher, I would want him sooner rather than later.
Zeise
1:30
We will start to see moves as soon as next week. I think teams have waited traditionally but we may see some activity start to heat up

Good Afternoon, just curious, I grew up around Pittsburgh and follow the Bucco's as best I can.  I recently noticed watching games pitchers almost exclusively throw from the stretch now even when no runner is on.  What happened to throwing from the windup and when did that change?
Zeise
1:32
Some guru somewhere decided that was more efficient or better or whatever. Again, just like everything else in baseball. The more the non-baseball playing geeks take over, the more the game changes and I’m not sure for the better

Do you think Pitt football intentionally concentrates on the three-star type recruits because chances are they will stay with the program as opposed to hopping around? It seems like Narduzzi's plan is to become the ACC's version of the Big Ten's Iowa. Always competitive, but rarely elite.
Zeise
1:34
I think that is a part of it. The formula to win is build a program and have the bulk of your players as fourth and fifth year guys. In order to do that you need guys to stay around that long and be developed
Bernard

If you were Kevin Warren and USC and UCLA approached you to join B10, would you have honored your "alliance" with PAC 12 or risked those schools going to the SEC?  I'm an old school B10 guy, hate Rutgers and MD in our conf, don't like this, but not sure he had a choice here.
Zeise
1:34
Of course not. He did what he had to do to survive and keep up with the SEC
Bernard
1:35
Do the Pens need to upgrade the goalie position?
Zeise
1:35
Yes, absolutely but I’m not sure they can at this point.

You ain't no Libertarian in yo thinking fool. You an extreme righty. You too scared to respond but that's cool fool. You do you homie.

Please take your medication. For a while you had that Trump Derangement Syndrome under control and went away but you are back and as unhinged as ever. Maybe have a few drinks with Amanda!

Good afternoon Paul, I hope the restaurant which has a sandwich named after you doesn’t close.  I feel bad for those owners who have had to close, be in permanently or on a temporary basis.

Archie’s is an institution in the South Side! Luckily it is up Carson Steer about five blocks from where all the foolishness happens

At this point, what can the Penguins do to shake things up even a little for next season? They are just about out of cap space. Obviously one of the defensemen has to go, yes?
Zeise
1:38
They can make some lower level moves and sign some inexpensive guys but as far as making a real change there isn’t much
Bernard
1:38
Great LA Times article on JR Richard today.  Man that guy was good and it is such a sad story.  Do you have any recollections of him?
Zeise
1:39
Just a great pitcher and a guy who had that fierce competitiveness to him
Buy or sell

I half agree and half disagree with you when you say the Pirates should sell again at the trade deadline. If they really want to be respectable next year and contend the next I think they need to keep some people even if just for next year Every MLB team has guys who aren't part of their long term future because they fill a need. I'd keep Vogelbach. Their offense is improving but if he goes down who replaces him? I don't see anyone in the system who's an obvious replacement now or who you'd count on to do it next year. I'd keep Chavis if I could. He's versatile and right handed. The offense is so left handed that they need a right hander who can handle himself at the plate.
Zeise
1:40
I just think you might as well get what you can in trades for all these guys until you are ready to win
The Real TP Hunter

About Cruz's arm, he seems to rely on arm strength too much and doesn't step into the throw. Had he made an accurate throw to home last night the Pirates could have turned a double play and gotten out of the 10th inning.
Zeise
1:40
I’m not a throwing technician. I just know it is fun to watch him throw rockets across the infield

Hi Paul.  What is the over/under on how many people post as Amanda?
Zeise
1:41
No less than 7
Randy
1:41
Do you think KD and Kyrie end up staying with Brooklyn?
Zeise
1:41
Yes, I do. I don’t think they want to give Durant his freedom

Hi Paul.  I understand that we will never see any career Pirates in this town anymore.  It will be hurtful when Bednar and Reynolds are traded away.  Even more so a few years down the road when O'Neil Cruz leaves..
Zeise
1:42
It is a long, long time before we have to start worrying about Cruz being traded
Buy or sell
1:42
And then there's Bednar. I agree that he's a luxury now. But you're advocating keeping guys who can be part of the long term future He certainly could be and if they are even just respectable next year. On the other hand, there's tons of turnover for closers and the Pirates seem to be good at finding good ones. RIP Ducky. I didn't know he died.
Zeise
1:43
Pitchers of his profile have a high ceiling and short shelf life. I would say if you don’t trade him now you will never get the most value he has to offer
Big John
1:43
I think Chavez should play every day. He's their best at 1st. The dude can stretch out & also catch Cruz's missiles. I saw Tsutsugo botch one of them. Why is he still on the team?
Zeise
1:43
They keep trying to trade him!!!
