People are way too hung up on $70M for Hayes. In 7 years that’s going to be bargain basement. If he can hit .250 with 10-15 home runs it’s a steal.

That's exactly what I said - if he hits with power and he hits with some consistency, the contract will be a steal of steals
I see Rico is off his meds again, someone help him out, he is slobbering down his shirt

Odds the Steelers stun everyone and start 4-0?
Zeise

I would say 20 percent. I don't think it will happen but the early part of the season, anything can happen

Greetings non Billionaire. I just received the terrible news that the employees of the "Miners League" for my Baseball company are planning to form a workers union. I find this outrageous. Why are Miners forming playing Based Ball in the first place. They're supposed to be getting coal. And secondly, you be be assured that if these shenanigans occur I will have these employees sold to another Baseball company. I can't believe that these employees expect me to pay them a livable wage and provide them benefits. So ungrateful

I listened to Bob Eucker "try" and call the Brewers Pirates game last week and cmon he was terrible. I mean his voice is a shell of what it once was. I get he is a legend but when is enough enough? I heard Lanny Fratere in a commercial the other day as well as calling some little league game and his voice was a shell of itself too.

It is hard to fire a legend and it is hard to move on from a broadcaster who is beloved
They stink

Lets face it. Devonshire and Battle stink
Zeise

Based on what? Why does everyone who doesn't play a good game suddenly stink? It makes no sense to me

Good day Mr Zeise. Do you have any requests you'd like me to play tomorrow night ?
Zeise

How about Rocket Man! That is my favorite of your songs
Just a fan

Maybe Nutting wont invest in a better scoreboard for 2023 but still pocket the $1.00 increase per ticket or perhaps rather invest in better players? 😊
Zeise
1:05
No, I think he is obligated to spend the money on the scoreboard. It is coming, he just wants to make sure he doesn't have to pay for it

Besides possibly this one, what is the dumbest/most outrageous question you remember being asked?
Zeise
1:07
I have been asked so many outrageous and dumb questions over the years it would be hard to come up with one. However, if you just search through my chats - any question from "Amanda" or "Rico" will definitely qualify as dumb and/or outrageous and so there you go.

I'll need you to take care of my beloved corgi's and my son Andrew. Would you be available to help old chap ?
Zeise

Um, no. The Corgis are cute, though

Re: Narduzzi. He is a clown show, and leaves plenty to be desired on gamedays. But his players love him, they don't transfer, they stay and develop, and by most accounts he has his program rolling, and it's clean. Frankly - his warts may prevent an SEC/B1G school from taking a run at him.

I am not sure where he would go. I was asked about Nebraska - Nebraska isn't a better job than Pitt. I think he has done a really good job of building a good program at Pitt. He will likely retire as Pitt's coach in a few years

Although you hear and read a lot about the NIL deals for football players, is it just as prevalent and lucrative for the college basketball players?
Zeise
1:09
Yes, in  some cases. I mean look at what Kentucky and Duke and a few schools like that have done with their basketball NIL deals. It is incredible how much money is being thrown around these days
OK, folks that is it for me, thanks for the all the questions and we will chat again on Sunday during the Steelers games
