I agree though they got him at such a cheap number it made sense to sign him. But replacing him has not been an issue

Hi Paul!  Let's say the Steelers are 6-3 or 7-4 or something and Tuitt returns, and Ben makes a few more deep ball completions each game.....would you say the Steelers vault into the Super Bowl Contender Chatter.  I would think so, especially with all kinds of other teams going through injuries and problems with coaches and players.

The AFC is so wide open right now and nobody is good. So anything is possible

Will Boswell play on Monday?
Zeise
12:34
It sounds like it that’s just from what is being reported

What has Mason been doing? No jokes please.

What every back up does - collecting a check and practicing

I never understood the Hochuli love, both the kid and his old man. They draw FAR too much attention to themselves.  How do they have so much pull?
Zeise
12:35
I agree. I hate any ref who thinks they are a part of the show. Nobody is paying to watch them
Mike
12:35
Can we please not have any questions about Melvin Ingram. You would think we just cut Jack Lambert loose.
Zeise
12:36
I don’t ask the questions I just answer them
Steve
12:36
Will the Steelers take a look at Jaylon Smith?
Zeise
12:37
Why? He has become the “guy who at some point was talented and his next team will figure out how to make him a star” but he never lives up to it. It would be a waste

Paul, why do us Pirate fans keep getting duped into thinking that a new management team requires a complete rebuild?  Nutting loves these rebuilds.  He pockets all the profits for three or four years then looks like a philanthropist when he increases payroll after that time.  To kind of quote Mike Tomlin, never say never on a World Series, but never.
Zeise

It is what keeps every fan of every team going - hope

Good afternoon Paul i think Zucker scores first goal tonight and Claypool scores first touchdown on Monday night what do you think?
Zeise
12:38
I’ll go with that although I always say it will be Najee Harris who scores first

Does being able to place kick and punt make Jordan Stout more desirable to an NFL team than he'd be if he just did one of the things? It either frees up a roster spot or doesn't leave you where the Steelers were on Sunday.
Zeise
12:39
I’m sure it does. Every team needs a backup kicker and should have one ready and usually the punter would make the most sense

Has Hayden ever gone to the Pro bowl? If not why not?
Zeise

I had ti
i had to
look it up and yes, he made it three times 2013 14 and 19

Paul, the Steelers are on a 3 game win streak and have turned their season around. Yet, winning doesn't seem to be enough for lots of people in the burgh. Wait until Ben is gone and winning isn't a given anymore.
Zeise
12:45
If you believe that you haven’t been paying attention. The Steelers went to at least five AFC title games and a Super Bowl in between Bradshaw and Ben. They won’t become the Jets or Lions

Trade up/down to get Pickett ?
Zeise
12:47
Not really feeling that - if he is there they should take him though

Love the game time chats! Feels like I’m there when I have to work. Thanks again!
Zeise
12:48
They are fun. Only thing that is irritating is when people bitch that it stalls for a minute or two while I have the audacity to try and pay attention to the field and figure out what is going on

When was the last time Tomlin admitted making a mistake?
Zeise
12:49
Sunday when he said the fake field goal was on him

Why can’t Heather get the Pitt games on Comcast. Very embarrassing for all involved.
Zeise
12:50
It isn’t up to her and Comcast has to see a value in the ACC Network to pay the fees for it. Go to Archie’s on the South Side have some wings and watch the game there!
Mike
12:51
Good answer, so glad you have zero control over which questions get posted.
Zeise

The only person who has mentioned Ingram from what I can tell is you sooooo……

In the 2001 AFC Championship game the Patriots have been accused of Steeling the Steelers Defensive Signals?  But how was that effective since the Pats only scored 1 TD on Offense?  The other 2 TD's were a punt return and blocked FG.  Can you please clarify? Thanks for your time.
Paul in 2001 AFC Championship game.  Were the Pats supposedly stealing the Steelers O or D signals?  I had always heard D but the Pats only had 1 Offensive TD?  Other 2 TD's were from punt return & blocked FG.
Zeise
12:53
It was such an important question you asked it twice - they were allegedly stealing the Steelers signals and so they knew the plays that were coming at them

Paul: $3.5 million spent on Ingram.  Trade him for less than we gave up for Witherspoon and he ends up at an AFC contender who is still on their schedule.  It also continues the precedent that "hostages" can force their way out.  How can Colbert not be getting skewered for this?
Zeise
12:55
At the risk of angering Mike - it isn’t Colberts fault a guy thinks he is better than he is. This is a new era where athletes feel like they have more control of their careers than ever
