Should Steelers use their # 1 pick for Pickett?
Zeise
12:56
Depends on where it is and how he finishes his season. We have a long way to go before the draft
Ben

Tuitt is ready to practice he just isn’t is being reported.  Does that change your stance?
Zeise
1:00
No the last we saw him he was rehabbing his knee. That’s why I said it hey should just IR him and move forward

Paul, doesnt the Tomlinism "We want volunteers not hostages" create the equivalent of an NFL Transfer Portal? Any player who becomes dissatisfied with his role can simply whine his way out of Pittsburgh. I think Tomlin set a bad precedent with Blount and it has carried over to several others pulling the same stunt.

Again it is a new era of sports - the athletes are more bold than ever at fighting for what they think they deserve. There is a transfer portal in the NFL essentially - disgruntled guys leave their teams all the time

When was the last time Trump admitted making a mistake?(lol)
Zeise

Probably something to do with the USFL

What will it take for Cincinnati to actually make the college football playoff?
Zeise
1:03
I think it could be interesting if some of the Power 5 teams lose games. If they take a 2-loss Alabama — say they lose SEC title game - over undefeated Cincy it is stupid

True or False:  The Pirates' MLB payroll has more to do with the working capital generated by the organization, and less to do with the independent wealth of the owner.

There are so many blurry lines with all of this kind of stuff as to where the money comes from. The bottom line is the owner could do better than he does

Hi Paul. The Steelers draft picks this year look to have a big upside for the next few years. What positions would you look to draft to help the team next year.
Zeise
1:05
I agree this has been a very productive class. Next year a corner to replace Haden, a quarter to replace Roethlisberger, a defensive lineman to replace Tuitt

Might want to look at question asked at 12:12. Lol, too funny, "at the risk of angering Mike".

Serious question, Steven A Smith asking for suspension of Aaron Rogers, what you say?
Zeise

Silly. But of course the COVID crowd wants everyone to conform to their world view and react with phony outrage when someone doesn’t. I think Bill Maher said it best - the pandemic and all the panic and idiocy it created are over, move on,
1:09
live your life. Setting up stupid rules to then suspend guys who say “these are stupid” is COVIDophobia in a nutshell. Let it go

Hello Paul.  This is my 1st chat thus wasn't sure if the 2001 AFC Champ question had gone through 1st time.  Thanks for the clarification (stealing offensive signals) that makes more  sense!  What Steelers playoff game would you consider to be the biggest letdown since 1980?  1994 AFC Champ (Chargers with Stan Humphries), 2001 AFC Champ (Pats), 2004 AFC Champ (Pats),  2015 Playoff (Denver with Tim Tebow), 2017 Playoff (Jags with Blake Bortles)?

The Chargers game against Stan Diego Humphries, Alfred Pupunu, Natrone Means and that crew. What a joke that loss was. The losses to Bortles and Tebow are close seconds

Should the steelers just give up on drafting DBs, get a guard and WR instead (plus D Line), and spend some of that cap money on DBs? They've done pretty well with DBs they've brought in
Zeise
1:11
That’s a good plan actually but they won’t. You know they won’t they will continue to draft these guys
1:12
OK thanks for all these great questions and a great chat. We will do it again Monday Night during the Bears game, talk then
