He won’t win 15 but it won’t shock me if he is a very successful PGA golfer and wins a few tournaments

I think they bring BB back, he can still obviously  play get rid of Canada, draft high in O line and D line. Can you imagine how good this offense would be with a decent O line? BB has a 15/3 td/Int the last several games! How many teams would dream of having a QB with those numbers?
Zeise
12:59
How many of those numbers came in the second half of losses  against Chargers and Vikings when he was facing prevent defenses

Hi Paul.  Thanks for your time.  Do you think they get to 10-6-1?  I think it's feasible as they're capable of beating each of the remaining 4 teams on the schedule if they play to their ability consistently. However, think 7-9-1 is more likely; which puts them in the upper half of the draft. Do you think they will use some of their signed players (Claypool) to get some draft capital?
Zeise
12:59
No I don’t see them beating the Chiefs. I think 2-2 is more likely than any other outcome

Paul - Who will be the basketball coach for Pitt next season?
Zeise

Wow. If it isn’t Jeff Capel then it better be Sean Miller

I can't believe I'm writing this but doesn't FSU have to consider replacing Mike Norvell with Coach Prime if FSU doesn't show substantial progress this year?
Zeise
1:00
Yes they should have done it this year

Sorry...I disagree.  Put Ben behind a healthy Tampa Bay line, and you would say he could play another five years.  It's this simple.  Our line stinks; therefore, our running game stinks, our game plan stinks, and an older QB exposes that more.  Grab one of these RB's masquerading as a QB, and you will see that nothing changes until the line does.

Reasonable minds can agree to disagree

Why is the starting goaltender for the local pro hockey club not getting tons of love on your chats?  Last spring was a long time ago, man.
Zeise
1:02
Because it isn’t the playoffs and he was good last regular season too. It all comes down to the playoffs

Earlier in the year this final 4 game stretch seemed daunting. It still does, but the Titans without Henry aren't as scary, the Browns are hit and miss, and the Ravens are shaky right now. Do you think 3-1 is realistic (I'm not giving them any shot in KC)?
Zeise
1:02
As I’ve said anything is possible but 2-2 seems probable

In watching the Steelers it is obvious that Ben can still play, the issues are with the line on both sides. Why do so many people call for Ben to move on?
Zeise
1:03
It is not obvious

What's the delay with promoting Brennan Marion to OC? It seems painfully obvious to me that he should be the guy.

Maybe Narduzzi is going through the process of interviewing people

How much cap space would you dedicated in FA to the O-line? I think they should invest $15-20M to get their best player (Najee) some help.
Zeise
1:05
They need a tackle and a guard without a doubt

Paul thanks for your work! Is Joe Greene the only man on planet earth,  short of Mr Rooney, who could put M Tomlin on the proverbial  “Hotseat”?
Zeise
1:05
Maybe. Greene carries a lot of weight in that organization

When the defense get's together to watch film they see Bush out there running half speed and avoiding contact. Do you think anybody gets on him about it? How can the coaches justify continuing to give him so many snaps when the effort is clearly below the line and worse than JV?
Zeise
1:06
They don’t have anyone else healthy. They do get Spillane back and I’m sure he will get some snaps but the guy is a first round pick

Is there any way all of the fans attending Pirate's games this year could dress in ski wear?
Zeise
1:07
Now that would be hilarious

How come the kid from PSU is not getting more grief for the alligator arms thing in the end zone?  Still a better pick than thou admittedly
Zeise

I have no idea what this means

Can Pitt win without Pickett ?
Zeise
1:08
Yeah isn’t Michigan State without their top running back for the same reason?
BostonArt

Their plan for next year has to include going after Tier 1 FAs, no?  I'd like to see them aggressively go after Tier 1 RT, DE, and ILB and pick up Tier 2 OLB and S.  They should have the cap space to do it.
Zeise
1:09
I would hope but as you know that doesn’t always happen and actually doesn’t happen often with this organization

Paul, 16 years ago the Steelers were 7-5 with 4 games to go with a future hall of famer on his last ride.  They ran the table to the franchise's 5th Lombardi Trophy.  Could it happen again?
Zeise
1:11
No. That team was actually good and lost a few games because of key injuries. This team is not good
Mercury

Is it time for Tomlin to admit he’s not the defensive wizard he once was and give the keys to the D to someone new?
Zeise

It is funny how much less effective coaches are without good players

Do you think 90 is going to have the same injury history his brother had?  When healthy he's worth every penny invested but if it's going to 3/4 or less of a season each year the price is too high.
Zeise
1:12
I think it is a valid concern. His style of play lends itself to getting injured a lot
