I believe that Marcus Mariota is absolutely a guy the Steelers will at least take a long look at. It feels like their plan will be Rudolph, a Mariota type and maybe a rookie

Let’s say the CFP expanded to 12 teams. Pitt is #12 & draws #5 Alabama. The odds makers give Pitt a 12% chance of winning the game. Does Pickett or any other potential first round pick opt out of that scenario & choose the $ over the chance to chase a title?

They might move down to get additional picks. They won’t trade picks to move up. They can’t afford to do that
