Why did it take Bud Dupree so long to catch on and become productive?
Zeise
1:11
Every guys process is different. When they drafted him they knew he was raw and had a lot of work to do. It took him some time but he has become a really good player. Some guys that light never goes on

Do we ever see a college football national championship in Pittsburgh again?
Zeise
1:13
I’ll never say never but under this current system, no. I think there are too many built in disadvantages for teams like Pitt

Paul, if you are Tomlin,  who do the Steelers match up best with for a first round win?
Zeise
1:13
The Browns. The Titans. The Dolphins.

Do you like the week 17 setup with all divisional games?  I don’t. I think it adds to NFL lore when you have a 1989 Vikings Bengals MNF matchup with other teams vested and after a while all of these week 17 divisional matchups blur into each other!
Zeise
1:15
I agree. I think the week 17 games should be conference games but not divisional games. I would like the NFL to ensure they all matter and the only way that can happen is if they aren’t at the end of the year when stuff is clinched

Who is the Steelers QB in 2022?
Zeise
1:15
Mason Rudolph
Robert

Wow. How did that question from JLo get moderated in? Wonder who broke her heart in the past? #Jaded
Zeise
1:17
Maybe it was P Diddy...... Give her a break, she is just Jenny from the block!
Tom

Silly is playing a game with no pro Wide Receivers.  What is the difference in not playing week 17 from getting the first round bye in the playoffs?
Zeise
1:17
Because you are handing a playoff spot to the Browns by forfeiting
Randall
1:17
Sam Darnold, Matthew Stafford, Dwayne Haskins, Jameis Winston Steeler future quarterback??
Zeise
1:18
Maybe Darnold but the other three I just don’t see jt

Paul can you pass along thanks to the Steelers for giving us in PGH a nice autumn and winter with football?
Zeise
1:23
Well it is published now so you have said thanks to the Steelers on your own!!

The quick passing game plays to the limitations of an offensive line, especially the offensive tackles, who can’t protect and run block effectively. Can the Steelers may any kind of realistic change for the playoffs?
Zeise
1:25
Not really you are who you are at this point in the season. The line just isn’t really all that good and isn’t likely to find a fountain of youth any time soon

Hello Paul.  I just want to acknowledge that today is the anniversary of Roberto Clemente’s passing 1972 while on a humanitarian flight to Nicaragua.  Rest In Peace Roberto!
Zeise

What a fantastic man and Pittsburgh treasure Roberto Clemente was

Do the Steelers make it to the championship game?
Zeise
1:27
I do not believe they do. I think they win won and their season dies in Buffalo in the Divisional round

Trivia: which Steeler 1979 Super Bowl assistant later headcoached the Browns in 1989 to the AFCCG in which PGh would have been the opponent had they held on in Denver?

Hi Paul, have you heard any news about the O’Neill Cruz court proceedings?  With Bell gone, and lack of depth, do you think he could be developed into becoming a first baseman or do the Pirates have other plans for him?  Thank you.
Zeise
1:33
Yes it sounds like it is all cleared up and he will be ready to roll for spring training
Fitzmagic

How important is this game for Mason to move on from Roethlisberger if the Steelers so choose to after this season?
Zeise
1:37
It is a huge game for Mason and his future. He needs to perform well and prove he is worth the Steelers continuing down the path to make him their next starter
TheStandard
1:37
Is Bud back in 2021? Both got to find a way.
Zeise
1:38
Yes. His injury makes it easy for the Steelers to sign him to a one year “prove it” type deal

Why don’t we run a big man in the backfield like the Bears did w Refrigerator Perry on short yardage?
Zeise
1:39
They don’t even use a fullback and you want to do that? I would love it but they don’t seem to value a blocking back
LumberAndLightning
1:39
When do we see a championship contending team again?
Zeise
1:39
The Pirates? I would say by 2023 they will be back contenders for a wild card
