There are expensive names that bring physicality like Kadri and Manson, but how about some more under-the-radar names that will still get paid today.

Nicolas Deslauriers is a wanted man. Teams love what he brings.
Ben Chiarot is one of the meanest defensemen in front of his own net in the league. I never want to feel anything as painful as what one of his cross-checks must be like.
Ilya Lyubushkin shouldn't be higher than your third pairing, but he's kind of a Radko Gudas-lite.

Okay maybe Chiarot isn't under-the-radar. Replace him with Zach Aston-Reese, who is about as happy laying a hit on the forecheck as he is scoring a goal.

I have heard Kadri’s name going to Seattle. Thoughts on this? I do not see him as a good fit.

The idea behind this is to let Beniers and Wright develop with a little less pressure down the middle

I will say there would be a bit of a logjam but I actually wonder if Yanni Gourde could be an off-the-board trade acquisition this summer
No one is talking about him really, but he had another 20 goal season in Seattle this year and now only has 3 years left on his deal

Do you think the Wild and Ottawa could swing another trade. Dumba to Ottawa for futures? What would it take a 2023 2nd rounder and an average prospect get it done? Dumba would help Ottawa and Wild could use the cap. This is if Guerin is willing?

I don't think clearing the deck for Kuemper is an excellent move really but I can at least understand it
