I don't think you can put Despres in that..it's only been injuries for him.

A two year deal for Bieksa isn't bad, though that NMC is tough.
They are actually in pretty good shape, with their old defenders coming off the books as the young guys come up. If it weren't for that darned expansion draft..

Going back to the draft how do you feel about Timothy Liljegren? Any world where the Devils take him 3-5?

Liljegren has had a rough draft season.
Mono took away a bunch of his year, and then he's been bounced back and forth between Rogle and Timra, without getting on the ice all that much.

I actually think he'll fall out of the top five, though you're right in thinking the Devils might go after him.

Did you hear about the report that the LV golden Knights may select a whole bunch of good goalies in the expansion draft and hoard them and sell high? What do you think about the strategy? I personally don't think it'll work bc every team would have all ready protected their #1s

I think it was less a report than an idea. But like you, I don't think it would be as effective as just selecting the best player.

They are incredibly talented on offense.
To the point where I really think that forward group could win a Cup in the next five years.
But....sometimes they look like a beer league team playing defense.
