Lots of teams bust on entire drafts all the time, especially ones who are continually in the back half of rounds.

If it's eight he may push $10MM, which is ridiculous, but if it's just five it would be much less.
Remember that the thing that inflates these contracts is the amount of free agent years you buy out.

He's said clearly dozens of times that he wants to, and that he loves being an Islander.
That said, if a deal isn't worked out this summer the pressure from the media is going to be insane all season.

I think all three are available to them if they offer the right pieces.
Most likely is Duchene simply because we know he's on the market.
