Now, I don't have a source on this beyond what Boyle has said himself, but I think it's a near-lock.
His family is there and he just had a baby.

He talked extensively in Toronto about how hard it was to be away from them, and I don't think he'll want to move them.

The Callahan/Coburn deals handcuff TB so bad, it's very frustrating. Just under $10 mil for next to nothing. Especially bad because young guns are ready for their 2nd and 3rd contracts in the upcoming years.

I do think so. I've thought for a while that the NHL would get their wish and eventually convince someone to make it happen out there.
Whether or not it should be an expansion team is a different discussion, but it likely will be.

exactly, I'm an impulsive fan but i see the #14 pick or the extra 2nd rounders Yzerman picked up as perfect bait to move Callahan, Tampa doesn't really need to draft just needs cap space and a Top 4 D

Did you guys see the stat today, about how none of Toews, Tarasenko, Getzlaf or Malkin have scored an even strength goal when PK is on the ice?
Those are the forwards who've played the most against him in each round.
Just kind of mind-boggling.
