I just think Quebec city is a long, long way away for the NHL.
There are several markets I think they try before going there.

They don't really have to make any moves, just re-sign their guys.

As above, Grubauer or Schmidt.
If they do lose Schmidt, they'd have to go out and get a defenseman.
An Orpik buyout is fun to think about but I seriously doubt it would happen.

As I discussed earlier on the site, if Vlasic re-signs like he sounds like he will, Carlson will stand next to Mike Green among defensemen next year.
That's might enticing I'm sure.
(obviously there are other defensemen available, but he'll be the best one)
