Where is Montreal at this point in the offseason? Still looking for a center? (Do they think Drouin and Galchenyuk be a good 1/2C -> that's probably best case scenario with Danault being the 3/4C with Plekanec)

Unless they move Galchenyuk for a center, one of he or Drouin will probably have to start in the middle.

Okay so no marquee free agents restricted or unrestricted. I'm currently pretty frustrated with how McPhee has basically given away Kruger, Methot, Van Riemsdyk, Emelin for pretty much nothing. Am I going to be watching an AHL team in Vegas for awhile?

Not an AHL team, but not a very exciting one either. There are some really nice pieces there that you'll come to love.
Nate Schmidt is a gamebreaker, and Shipachyov will score consistently.

The Kruger/Van Riemsdyk stuff is all tied together so you have to look at it that way..Emelin was a shock to even be selected.
2nd round picks aren't nothing though.

He's a powerplay guy who can't be trusted against any skilled players. He's not quick enough to defend.

We'll see where he ends up, there are other trade dominos to fall before he finds a home probably.
