I am definitely intrigued by the "Offensive Coordinator" role of Turgeon.
That said, I don't think it's Brown and Gaborik that will see the increase.

I also wonder if they'll utilize Jonny Brodzinski.

I still think an upgrade at 3C is needed. Vermette at 3C is not going to work well. Rakell at center is not preferable. Something needs to change.

Ranger fan yes.  If not Backes, Bozak would be a nice pick up.  Any thoughts on if Toronto is considering making him available?  I'd like us to obtain a veteran center as a bridge until Lias Anderson develops.

There is quite a bit of speculation about Toronto making both Bozak and van Riemsdyk available, as they're free agents next summer.

I think if Toronto put up a for sale sign on Bozak there would be plenty of interest, even if he's not the most capable defender.

Remember he had 77 points in 2015-16 and 59 in 2016-17. He's an elite offensive center.
Who just so happens to be excellent defensively as well.
$7.8MM was about a million too much, but that was the price the KHL cost them.
