I actually think there will be a couple of major deals still this summer.

I don't mean Subban-Weber deals, but legitimate trades that move good pieces.
Vegas will be part of that.
They have 12 defensemen, and there is no way they're burying a bunch in the minors in their first yer.

Hi Gavin, any hopes for avs fans? Could this year be even worse then last year? They currently only have 3 defenseman under contract (Johnson, Barrie and barberio).

It is extremely unlikely they'll be worse than last year

But don't expect a bounce back.
They need a lot of work to fix what has gone wrong in Colorado, which is why Sakic is holding on so dearly to Duchene.
All that said Sean, buy your Tyson Jost jersey now. He's a keeper.
