Am I crazy for wanting to trade Kris Letang? When he’s right, he’s a top 10 defenseman. But with all the injuries (and not “normal” ones at that), cap hit, and poor play it seems like a good way to shake up the team.

They do right now. Long-term, I don't see either of them as real impact players.

Playoffs, definitely. Not even that dark. They'll be right in it until the end for that third spot in the Atlantic.

Ovechkin has three more years on his contract after this season.

I'd imagine he finishes that as a Capital.

AHL scorer, not good enough to give the minutes in the NHL he'd need.

The Elite League is growing, although we're being held back by a lot of player safety issues - if you do nothing else I would recommend looking up the Goulakos/Fretter incident and seeing the fallout of that, was a ridiculous issue.
