It's not nearly enough for him. There isn't any upside there for Pittsburgh.

Just in, Letang is on injured reserve.
That doesn't necessarily mean the injury is much more serious, but it certainly puts any trade talk on hold.

Do the Bruins target a veteran forward addition at the deadline, similar to the Stafford deal last year? I don’t see anything huge but like Kane, but I feel they’d benefit from another veteran presence.

Deals like that are more about opportunity though. If someone shakes free for such a low asking price, then sure. But I think they believe in the young guys.

They are definitely calling around, but the Jets aren't a team to make a big splash and bring in someone expensive.
They still have a lot of forward depth, and remember that guys like Jack Roslovic are still waiting for their chance.

It's been really rough for him.
I don't have much more than that. He's a better goaltender than he's shown, but has really struggled.
It's a tough spot for a team like Carolina that's ready to break out.

Tough as the league continues to move towards analytics. They don't show well for Gudbranson.

I did think that Toronto rumor had a nice fit, but he'd likely be taking Roman Polak's spot when Zaitsev is healthy, and Mike Babcock seems to adore Polak.

Another question about Montreal to me is Julien. His "system" grew tired in Boston and now is netting next to nothing in Montreal.

His system is working as it always does. His teams take a lot of shots, don't allow a ton, but have trouble scoring.
Problem is Montreal doesn't have peak Bergeron and Chara.
