Hi Gavin, How good a prospect is Lafrenière? Some are saying he is the best prospect since mcdavid and others said he is not a high end prospect you expect as a number 1 pick, So what say you? Are they hating because he is not a center?

Not being a center does drop him down, but Lafreniere is an elite prospect. He should have a long, successful NHL career.
I would put him behind Matthews, but ahead of Hischier.

About even with Hughes, though his transition will likely be quicker, and it's hard for me to compare with Dahlin.
There is a lot of talent in this draft, no doubt. But there is also a clear gap between #1 and #2 for me.

That's not to say that Lafreniere will turn out the best prospect from the draft, in fact that rarely actually happens, but right now he is the clear number one.

Tkachuk is going to score 30 goals plenty of times in his career.

There was a very weird report recently that said something along the lines of, "the next step is he needs to get on the ice" but it doesn't actually sound like that has happened.
So I don't know, to be honest. I'm not even sure how it would play out if he was deemed healthy enough to return. Does that Jets' locker room even want him at this point?

McAvoy in Boston plays so many minutes but his scoring has just not come with the playing time. Do you see him developing a more offensive game over time?

I think there is definitely room for growth there, but he's also not exactly being asked to play an offensive role.
Torey Krug is the big powerplay guy on that team, while McAvoy is thrown over the boards seemingly every second shift at even strength.
There's a lot of value in a kid that can log 20 basically shutdown minutes a night.

A first-round pick and a legitimate prospect.
Zucker is probably still underrated.
He would bring back a good amount for the Wild, even if it isn't guaranteed NHLers.
