More disappointing than Montreal--I think the Canadiens knew they were in for a tough go after losing Weber/Price/Danault
More disappointing than Islanders, because right now there is still a little bit of optimism with just 39 games played
Less disappointing than the Jets, who considered themselves legitimate contenders

I said it at the time and I still think it's probably true that Laine probably isn't in Columbus by the time his UFA seasons kick in
Not saying that means he'll be traded this season, or this summer. He's still an RFA. I just can't see that working out long-term

They can just take him to arb, or he can accept his qualifying offer, but maybe the right thing is to find a package at some point before October.
