I think John Davidson will have a little more patience though

Who could the leafs trade to add some better depth and who do you see them going after?
Gavin Lee
6:42
I know the Toronto-Anaheim connection is a little overblown in the rumor mill, but I keep coming back to Rickard Rakell for the Maple Leafs.
6:43
If Anaheim starts selling, he's a big chip because of how inexpensive he is
Toronto would have to move things around, but they still might need a winger and he could fill one of those spots next season too when their one-year deals come off

Which player has the single most trade value right now?
Gavin Lee
6:44
In the whole league, who has the most trade value. Hmm that's an interesting one.
6:45
I would love to say MacKinnon, because of how cheap he is...but is he the answer?
Only get two and a half years of him
Makar isn't even arbitration eligible
6:46
Does that give him more value?
What about five years of Hedman under $8M
Or just simply McDavid, even though he's the highest paid
6:47
I guess Draisaitl at $8.5 would come into that
HMM that's a tough one
I think the answer is still probably McDavid. I mean he would take the most to actually get, right?

Is Houston still on the lookout for an NHL franchise?  If so, who besides Arizona are candidates for relocation?
Gavin Lee
6:49
Tilman Fertitta has always been pretty open about the idea of bringing a team there, if there was a chance for one
He is quite busy at the moment though, I bet it's not on his front burner.
Among relocation candidates, you always still have to include the Panthers.
6:50
I'm still not sure what will happen to Ottawa. That's a mess, with seemingly no chance for a downtown arena right now
6:51
But one thing to remember is that Gary Bettman will fight tooth and nail against relocation
Only agreeing to it if a) it's inevitable and b) if they're going to a market that he wanted anyway

6:52
Do you see Josh Anderson staying near where he is on the goals leaderboard come the end of the season?
Gavin Lee
6:52
I don't, though he has been impressive
That 23.7% shooting percentage is going to come down though
Covid Watch
6:53
What odds do you give that all 31 teams will have a '56' under the games played column when the regular season ends?
Gavin Lee
6:53
This is one thing that actually might keep Anderson near the top
I'm not convinced at all that they will actually get 56 games in for all the teams
6:54
But, doing things like moving up the Arizona-St. Louis games is a good move.
The league is going to try their darndest to get them all in, but what happens if there is an outbreak in the last week?
6:55
Everyone keeps saying that there is time to squeeze them in at the end, but what if the end is the part affected?

6:56
What happens with Danault between now and the end of the season?
Gavin Lee
6:56
I think the most recent was that there wouldn't be any talks, but boy is it hard to trade a player with zero goals
6:57
Montreal might as well keep him if they aren't getting good value for him, but I don't really see how they can afford to re-sign him either
If I had to bet right now, it would probably be on Danault making it onto our Top UFA list for 2021

6:58
Seabrook done for good or is there a comeback?
Gavin Lee
6:58
All signs seem to point to the end, but he's proud and is still trying
Mike Dickinson
6:59
Jordan Staal is finally earning his paycheck with his offense. Face offs and as a defensive forward have always been solid. Hope they leave Svech with him and the points keep adding up.
Gavin Lee
6:59
Boy he's been good thus far hasn't he!
