I think I warned a few people on these chats last season that Lafreniere was not the next McDavid, but he's also not going to score 1 goal and disappear.
He's a good player, have some patience.

First of all, Eriksson has to be bought out after this season. I know it doesn't save them much, but you need to get him out of there.

At the end of the season, I would probably move on from Benning, if only to give the team a refresh. The new GM would be able to pick a coach of his pleasing.
Edler would be let go, with a tribute on the last game of the season.

We'd stop trying to plug defense holes with scrap heaps and commit to the younger guys.
