That has to be on a couple minds, but I think they're just going through a rough patch.
It's a really good team, that lost their way in the defensive zone a bit.
They'll get it back.
Sens
6:24
Who's most likely to get dealt out of us...Duclair, Ennis, Pageau, other?
Gavin Lee
6:24
Pierre LeBrun is reporting that the Senators are making a last second push to re-sign Pageau (though they've said that before).
I don't think they would move Duclair at this point.
6:25
I still think Pageau is probably dealt by the deadline, but maybe they've decided to pay up

6:25
Is St. Louis really going to stand pat now when they have a chance to repeat?
Gavin Lee
6:25
I still think they might have another move for a forward up their sleeve
But that's a really, really strong team.

6:25
Should we read into Johnny G stripping his social media of anything Flame related?
Gavin Lee
6:26
People always want to read into this and it almost never means anything.
Bill S
6:26
Could Johnny Guadreu be moved by Calgary?
Gavin Lee
6:26
I don't think it would happen at the deadline, if ever.

6:26
Do you see the Wild making any more moves?
Gavin Lee
6:27
If they get a big enough package for Brodin or Dumba they would have to consider it, but I don't think this is a "sell it all at the deadline" approach.
Guerin is trying to do it right, and waiting until the draft doesn't really take any value away from these assets.
I do think they might try to flip Galchenyuk, but who knows if they can.
OwNo
6:28
What do you think Kevin LeBanc fetches on the trade market?
Gavin Lee
6:28
Do you really want to trade Kevin Labanc right now?
6:29
I know he hasn't had quite the season many expected, but San Jose needs talented forwards. He won't command a huge price in arbitration.
Blues Fan
6:29
Could Krieder end up is St. Louis? Or is that too far of a stretch.
Gavin Lee
6:29
It sounds like it might be a stretch at this point, but yes I thought for a while that might be where he ended up.
6:30
The fit is obviously perfect
But other teams sound like the front runners.
the future
6:30
Which breakout rookie forward will be better long term? Olofsson or Kubalik?
Gavin Lee
6:30
Interesting names..regular readers of this chat will remember I listed both as dark horse ROTY candidates at one point.
6:31
I actually think Kubalik is the better long term, but it's hard to tell at this point.
Bruins
6:32
Bruins targets seem to Be kreider, palmieri and anderson . Who you think they get? Or will it be lesser like kovalchuk?
Gavin Lee
6:32
I don't think they end up paying the price for Kreider. I've said for a while I think they might go after a player with more term, which makes Palmieri the perfect fit in my mind
Anderson is just such a wildcard right now. Who knows what he's worth, or what he'll demand in negotiations
6:33
But he'd certainly fit Boston's culture
RagsFan
6:33
Why is it so quiet leading up to the deadline?
Gavin Lee
6:33
We've had plenty of trades!
Joseph Blandisi isn't enough for you?!
It'll get going, but lots of deals have already been done throughout the month
Sneak
6:34
Where to you think Buff.will play next year , does not seem like Winnip
Gavin Lee
6:34
Not convinced he does play next year, but no it won't be Winnipeg.
6:35
Chicago, Florida are easy guesses because of the history
Baseball Guy
6:36
Avs need a stopgap goalie? Or run with what they have?
