Picked up a couple easy road wins against SJ and ANA but I'm surprised they and/or JQ haven't gotten more heat...defense has been terrible, lines going into a blender, Dmen playing forward. What do we do? Massive ceiling for the team, but also chatter on Trocheck and Hoffman

You're right, they have 9 defenders in the lineup and still can't defend.
They are a team I am watching carefully over the next couple of days. I think if anyone makes a move that "shocks" it's them.

I have a lot of worries about the Blue Jackets because of the loss of Jones.
That's incredibly important.
The Islanders I think will have an easier time, especially if they add.

They already added Taylor Hall and Phil Kessel, and it didn't really help.

Adding in pieces like that isn't going to fix the fact that Nick Schmaltz (8), Derek Stepan (9) and Vinnie Hinostroza (5) all have fewer goals than Jacob Chychrun on the year.
These were supposed to be guys who you could rely on, at least a little bit, to put the puck in the net.
