Gavin, if Francouz leads the avs to the playoffs do they stick with him in the playoffs with no playoff experience or go back to Grubauer? Francouz has looked good the last couple games.

I've been a cheerleader of Francouz for some time.
I think they go with the hot hand, but make the switch quickly if it's not working.

Lehner sayin he would’ve taken a 3 year deal below market value from the Blackhawks after in December saying he would not be giving any discount is just talk from his agent or did bowman really botch this one? I’m not sure I see any plan at goalie anymore for the hawks

On the whole, I would suggest taking things that Lehner says with a small grain of salt.

He knows they can't really respond directly. Not saying he's doing it maliciously, but he's very obviously trying to build up his brand and get a good deal at some point.
That said, I do think someone messed something up in Chicago.
Lehner is a very good goaltender. Whatever it is that rubs coaches/executives the wrong way about him, it's on them to find a way to work around it.

They've just inked so many long-term deals with non-superstars. It's tough to see them really getting better over the next few years.

I would just like to see Montreal win the draft lottery and take Lafreniere he just seems like a fit for that team, they have drafted some centers lately and he would be a nice compliment to them.
