Hello and welcome to another chat!
I'll let some people and questions roll in, and then we'll get started in a few minutes.

Who is actually the 2nd best team in the Canadian division? After Toronto everyone has warts
Gavin Lee
6:10
For now that mantle goes to the Jets, who have certainly been the most consistent team outside of the Maple Leafs.
but make no mistake, they have their own problems and could easily go on a losing streak of their own.
6:11
I have trouble believing the Canucks can really turn it around at this point, the Senators were always going to be at the bottom, and the Canadiens need so much more from so many people.
6:12
The Flames have been a frustrating mess to watch, meaning I guess it's the Oilers and Jets to battle for that second spot?
For Toronto, it feels like they could walk to a division title at this point.

I have heard that some rinks have really good ice and others not very good ice.  Where is Carolina rated?
Gavin Lee
6:13
Having never skated on the Carolina ice myself, I am not one to judge.
6:14
But I've never seen it in the top of the players poll
6:15
I believe Edmonton, Winnipeg and Minnesota usually lead those
I've heard great things about the ice at T-Mobile in Vegas as well, though I wonder if that's more about the facilities than the actual frozen water.

Thoughts on all the STL Blues injuries? Something in the water or just really unlucky?
Gavin Lee
6:16
Just unlucky probably, but also since Craig Berube took over, that team has been consistently more physical than most
That takes its toll on the opponents, but also on themselves

6:17
Which one or two good teams in each div. do you think are going to miss the playoffs?
Gavin Lee
6:17
For the Central, Dallas I think is in real trouble here
Yes, they have played only 17 games, but the season isn't longer for them. They'll have to squeeze the rest into the schedule
6:18
In the East, a really good team is going to miss.
6:19
Well, maybe I shouldn't say really good, but if the Penguins miss the playoffs with a healthy Sidney Crosby, I think that would still be a shock to everyone
6:20
For the West, I don't really think any "really good" teams will miss. The Wild and Coyotes are both good enough for the playoffs, but I don't know if they would really be a shock
In that division, Colorado hasn't been as dominant as many expected
That would be a shock, if they don't pour it on in the second half
The North, as discussed above, only has one really good team anyway
And Toronto will make the playoffs
6:21
McDavid missing again would be a disaster
But it is very possible

A lot of talking  heads have continuously ran down the goal tending of the canes.  Seems fine to me, besides who is available and at what cost?
Gavin Lee
6:21
Not to toot my own horn, but I think I've been very clear in my support for Alex Nedeljkovic in the past
6:22
He's an inch or two shorter than most NHL goalies, sure.
But he's good, man.
Never really understood why he wasn't getting a chance
(It also helps to have one of the best defense corps in the league)

Best coach fit for Buffalo’s current roster AFTER the debacle is all over?
Gavin Lee
6:22
When does the debacle end?
#firekrueger
6:25
Or after they lose 3 straight to the Islanders LOL
Gavin Lee
6:25
Firing Krueger doesn't change the fact the franchise has been spinning its wheels for a decade
6:26
He might not be the right fit here, but if Jack Eichel needs a better coach to score a goal, they're in trouble

Lol ends when Pegula lets Adams free from the handcuffs to see what he has or an actual experienced person is brought in to lead.
