I thought it was funny
6:16
I know Montreal fans thought it was classless and all that
But I think if emotions were removed, they'd brush it off like most others do
He just won the cup, he's happy, he's all by himself up there
I don't think it needs to be a big thing

Is it surprising to you that Colorado is the betting favorite for next year? They are a fantastic team without question but like Tampa I have trouble seeing them keeping everyone together
Gavin Lee
6:17
Just remember that betting lines aren't necessarily representative of the actual predictive models, but of the betting public
They are meant to get maximize potential gains
6:18
I think if Colorado were say, the fourth-highest, money would be pouring in on them
In terms of keeping everyone together in Colorado--they won't
Some guys are leaving this year
6:19
But the young defense is just so good that they're going to be contenders for a long time

The wild need a center, aside from Eichel, who should they try to get? Or do you think they should bet on Rossi?
Dylan
6:19
Do you think Rossi will make the wild roster this coming season due to the lack down the middle?
Gavin Lee
6:19
This is sort of the same thing
I still have no idea what to expect from Rossi
If he can get back to the player they drafted, he has should crack the roster
6:20
But I don't know if that is even possible at this point, not only because of the health issue but just how long he's been away from real competition
6:21
In terms of centers other than Eichel, there will be some names on the market.
6:23
Phil Danault, Alex Wennberg..bring back Granlund or Haula maybe,
Trade targets like Alex Kerfoot, Nazem Kadri
6:24
They don't need a long-term answer there, really, if they still believe in Rossi (and can get Kaprizov done)
Rod Brind'Amour's Abs
6:25
Do the Canes need to look at more depth or more grit? Paquette and Hakanpaa were supposed to bring the thunder, but that kind of fizzled out.
Gavin Lee
6:25
Honestly, they don't need to make big changes I don't think.
They lost to Tampa--everyone lost to Tampa--but are still a very well put together club.
6:26
Maybe with the Hamilton money you can add a little different dimension on the back end, or another third-line difference maker up front
But they are good and will be good

Where do you think Tarasenko ends up? With his injury history can St Louis even get much back for him?
Gavin Lee
6:27
Honestly no, they're not going to get a huge package for him
Not only is his injury history troubling, but he still costs 7.5 remember.
Like you have to be ready to bet a good chunk of your team's fortunes on him, and how can you right now?

Do you think Keith ultimately gets moved to EDM (or at all)?  I can see the Hawks trying to do right by him, but at the same time IMO their cap situation isn't dire enough for it to be worth moving him while also retaining salary unless they're getting actual player/pick value back (ie I wouldnt dump him just to dump him).
Gavin Lee
6:28
From the Hawks perspective, I really think it's more about just moving on and opening up an opportunity for the young guys
6:29
As long as Keith is in Chicago, he's going to demand minutes (not literally demand, just by his history with the team)
I would bet this whole thing started from a conversation about his role moving forward
And if he's going to play a lesser one, why not do it closer to home
6:30
I do think he will be traded, yes.

Are the jackets really going to deal jones and laine this offseason?
Gavin Lee
6:30
I'm not sold that they will deal Laine in the summer, but yes I think a Jones deal happens before the season starts

Dermott deal? Thoughts
