Not that he's the player Dastyuk was at all. But there is a way forward for Zegras in the middle

Closest I've seen to multi-sport athlete is NHL (winter) and Box Lacrosse (summer) when Brent Hughes did it.  Canadian box lacrosse isn't technically professional, but talent wise, it's top flight.
