I find myself incredibly intrigued by the potential to buy low on guys like Ho-Sang and Puljujarvi, but that doesn't appear to be the case in the NHL, at least at this point. Am I living in the past and only remembering them as prospects, or is the potential still there for them to be good NHL players?

A report just surfaced that the Hurricanes have kicked the tires, and I'm sure they're not the only ones.

I think what's happening is that the Oilers/Islanders aren't super interested in draft picks/far off prospects, but rebuilding teams that might want to take a chance on these guys don't have a lot to offer in terms of cheap NHL talent (which is why they're rebuilding in the first place).

Puljujarvi especially is a tough trade because he obviously wants an NHL roster spot.
How do you give that to him at this point?
