I do think they'll add, just not necessarily right away
6:33
I mean DeBrusk scored what, 25 goals last season?
I think he'll get more than 1 this year.
Philly
6:34
Will the Flyers treat Hart like a true #1 even through some ups and downs this year? Or will they resort to a Hart - Elliott timeshare if they continue to be in the playoff hunt #letthekidplay
Gavin Lee
6:34
I mean I think you already have the answer to that don't you? They're already in a timeshare.
6:36
Listen, Hart shocked me last season when he came up and was so successful. I didn't think he was close to being ready to take over a starting role in the NHL.
I'm not saying "told you so" but goaltenders take time to develop. They can't just put him in net for 60 games while he struggles and loses consistently
Bruins

What is the chance bruins add kovalchuk for krejci ? Not working in LA with money retained  .
Gavin Lee
6:39
I'm still so shocked by those who always want to get rid of David Krejci. That would be a bad trade for the Bruins,.
Bruins
6:40
I mean kovalchuk being krejci’s winger , with money retained . Thoughts ?
Gavin Lee
6:40
Ohhh, add him for Krejci's line. I got it.
6:41
I mean, he wouldn't be my first target.
Kovalchuk hasn't been a disaster in Los Angeles, but I don't think he would be so good to push other guys off the second line in Boston.
6:42
He still has a year left remember. Even retaining half, that's a risky bet.
Ron Duguay
6:42
Hey, Gavin.  Have you ever dressed up as a hockey player (in general, or as a specific player) for Halloween?
Gavin Lee
6:42
I get it, it's not original. But I was once a Hanson brother.
Bill
6:44
Did the Kings healthy scratch Toffoli the other night? Would be a good pickup for Bruins.
Gavin Lee
6:44
They sure did, breaking a 200+ game iron man streak.
He would be an option for a lot of teams I would think. I listed him several times in the offseason as a potential target.
Ron Duguay
6:44
Elliot Friedman mentioned Chris  Kreider as an intriguing fit for the Blues as they need to fill #91's big skates for the rest of the season.  What is a decent package that Blues would  actually  offer?
Gavin Lee
6:45
Yes, Frank Seravalli suggested it today too, which was interesting. There must be a bug flying around,.
6:46
But in terms of a package? You wonder if one of those fourth-line bangers may be involved. Barbashev or Blais. I'm not sure the Rangers want another prospect project, and I don't think you're landing one of their top young players.
6:47
That said I haven't heard of anything actually happening, it just seems like speculation at this point.
Connor & Leon
6:47
Can we keep this up the entire year (23+ min ATOI)...and make the playoffs? Or if not, who can we get to help us?
Gavin Lee
6:48
Boy, that is tough.
It's hard to imagine they can really keep up that pace, but they haven't slowed down yet.
6:49
The Oilers will be in on lots of people, but I don't really know how adding one or two would really take the pressure off that top line.
Who are you going to get to drastically reduce their minutes? It would have to be a pretty excellent player, and I'm not sure they have the currency for it.
Ron Duguay
6:49
RE Kreider - the Rangers still need quality young forwards, especially if they deal Kreider and Jesper Fast.
Gavin Lee
6:50
Yeah, that's why I suggested those two. Guys that have already proven they can play in the NHL. Kreider's not going to bring back a star though, unless he comes with a reasonable extension I guess.
Bruins
6:51
Why don’t Bruins have interest in Jesse pulajarvi?
Gavin Lee
6:51
I think lots of teams may have interest, but aren't willing to pay up to get him. Remember he has to both sign a deal with whatever team he goes to, and then chews up a roster spot.
What if he struggles again? You can'
6:52
You can't send him to the minors, and you can't just bury him after handing over a big price.
It's a tough deal to make I think.
Ron Duguay
6:52
Is there anything wrong with the Lightning, or should the team stand pat, and see what happens this Spring, and wait until the offseason?
Gavin Lee
6:53
They definitely don't need to make any panic moves. 6-4-2 isn't great, but Vasilevskiy has looked better and the scoring will come around.
I wouldn't rule them out of any deadline dealing though. They're always checking in.
Bovqist time
6:54
How long do I stay up in the show? What kind of role do I get?
Gavin Lee
6:54
I have zero idea what role the team has intended for Boqvist, or how long he'll stay. That move shocked me today.
