So the Blues traded for Logan Brown, he didn’t make the team and is in AHL not doing much. Why not take a guy with that size and skating ability and try him on defense?

I don't think the Flames will be selling him off in quite the same manner, they're winning and Gaudreau has been a huge part of that. I actually wouldn't be surprised if an extension comes instead of a trade

I've said the last couple years that I didn't think Boston would be in on the top guy at the deadline, or at least not willing to spend a big package of futures.
I wonder if that changes this time around
Remember, Pastrnak only has one more year under contract after this. I know he's been clear about not wanting to drive hard bargains in negotiations, but he's going to get a big raise one way or another
