Cholowski is a depth guy at worst, which is still worth something

They lost Tanev and McCann in expansion, and have Hallander to show for it. They gladly would have given him up to avoid losing both

Debrusk is still young and can have more freedom with CBJ and they get a pick. Bruins need Dmen and have young forwards to replace Debrusk. At least that was my thought process

Debrusk isn't that young. He'll turn 25 in October and is already earning more than he's worth right now
