He's been just fine, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him back up very quickly.
Not a lot of responsibility yet though, so we don't really know what he'll become.

He'll be the backup plan for whoever misses out on Wayne Simmonds I'd imagine.
Which means places like Tampa Bay, Toronto, Nashville, Edmonton, San Jose, even Montreal or Buffalo could all be in play

Though they were so far apart a couple of weeks ago I'm not sure if that can get done.

If you've read these chats for a while you know that I wasn't as high on Jones as many others, and felt that he needed a fair bit of seasoning in the minors.
Well, he's see a bunch of that now and he's looked just dominant at times for the Gulls.
I am not totally sure it will translate, but they're doing it the right way with him.

What is Jim Rutherford going to do. He has a plethora of D-Men once Schultz gets back. Who goes and what does Rutherford do with Brassard? Not a good fit.

Brassard is being sold to the highest bidder, and I don't think Rutherford would mind getting future assets that he could turn and flip.
He just never fit, as you say.

As for defensemen, Rutherford has also always been one to hoard those for a playoff run
