I've wondered for a little while if the Coyotes would flip Derek Stepan somewhere.
It's not really working there, and if they retain some of his salary he'd immediately become a top target
After they picked up Schmaltz it popped into my head.

Let's be clear that's not my EXPECTATION for Makar, but his ceiling. I think he'll be a very very good player though.
Barrie has been potentially traded so many times that I'm not going to speculate on him anymore.
It makes sense, but who knows.

With the 2.5 mill the Sabres saved when they voided that contract earlier, they could afford a a Reinhart and 3rd rounder for Kessel trade. Fair for both sides?
