The Lebreton area is being portioned off now to other developers, and while the plan is still to have room for an arena if it comes together at some point, that won't always be possible.
At some point, there won't be anyone who wants to buy a dying franchise without a real possibility for a new rink closer to the downtown core.

You'll definitely hear his name once the Gulls are eliminated, but the thought is that he'll move up to the Ducks instead.
I'd love for someone to give Rikard Gronborg a shot, and it sounds like the Sabres will interview him if they haven't already.

Let's remember that the last two playoff runs, Thornton has been playing without ligaments in his knees.

He's slow, sure. But there isn't a team in the league that wouldn't want Joe Thornton on the roster come playoff time
