How stubborn should I advise my client to be when it comes to resigning with Buffalo?  Is my client (as good as he is) really that good or was much of his success Eichel based?  What kind of contract do you envision Skinner getting?

I would be extremely stubborn, because Buffalo is in a must-sign situation.
They can't let him walk after that season, and the struggles the team has had.
He's going to sign for something like $70MM.

He's really good though. The idea that he only scored 40 because of Eichel is crazy. Everyone has always known he had 40 in him if you could get him a good center. That's who Jeff Skinner is

Weird that the ducks haven't hired a coach yet?  Given that Eakins was the odds on favorite, and still no decision has been made, what do you suspect will be the outcome?  What's your prediction on who they select, and when do they actually pull the trigger?  Thanks!

Sounds like there is a disconnect between management and ownership on Eakins, who I agree seemed like the obvious choice at one point.

Going back to the expansion draft last season .. what was the biggest coup Vegas made ... Stealing Marchessault from Florida by drafting Reilly Smith or stealing Tuch from Minnesota?

Both are huge, because remember they also were "forced" to take Erik Haula in that deal from Minnesota.
But also stealing Theodore in exchange for Clayton Stoner's contract was a huge one
They played it perfectly.

In terms of trades, I imagine they'll be involved in the draft day dealings. They still want to clear some of their bad contracts.
Might have to wait until after July 1 though.

Don't think it's necessarily smart one way or the other.
The deal for Zucker was a great one, if they could have convinced him to go.
