Your thoughts on a clubs denying a assistant from getting a interview for a G.M's job with another club? ie Chris Drury was asked for  permission with Rangers twice and was turned down. Have to wonder what he thinks on it?

I'm positive he is part of the conversation when that happens.
They don't just lock him up and block him from the rest of the league.
Sure they place some influence on the decision, but you can't have that big of a rift between a front office employee.

I'm sure he feels as though New York is the best opportunity for him right now.
(it has been quite rewarding so far, including getting him the USA Hockey job at the Worlds)

Calgary certainly can't afford him at the moment.
Unless Tkachuk signs a very short-term deal.
I'm not sure where he will end up though.
Thought all along it would be St. Louis, but not sure it will.

I just don't see a team like St. Louis that expects to compete for the Stanley Cup, giving up assets to hand ice time to an unproven player like Puljujarvi.
