I would be shocked if DeAngelo doesn't cave eventually. He has to take advantage of this opportunity the Rangers have given him.

For Kreider, I still think he'll probably be moved at some point.
There are new leaders up front, and he'd be a valuable trade piece.
If he's going to play on that powerplay we saw this week though...those numbers might be pretty impressive early on

It seems very likely that someone will miss the start of the season at this point.
I'm not sure who it will be, but there is such a big gap in many cases still

I mean it is, but David Rittich is the starter.
They believe in him.

You can't just add better goaltending without giving something up for it, and they probably felt like they couldn't afford an upgrade on Rittich.
