I don’t know about his shot from the dot declining. But I can see him losing speed as he ages and his body starts breaking down. Could he score realistically 50 in a few years as a 36 year old?

I mean he averages almost 20 powerplay goals a year. If he could do just that until he's 40 that's 140 of the 281 (I think?) right there.

33 (this year) - 45 (more)
34 - 50
35 - 40
36 - 40
37 - 30
38 - 30
39 - 25
40 - 20

That's 280 goals. Would put him 1 back.

As much as I’d love to see it, that’s a big ask. This is assuming good health for another 7 years
