Gavin Lee
10:57
I was wondering if we'd get one this morning.
Karl
10:57
I haven’t seen him today so I will help him out.
Gavin Lee
10:57
We all appreciate it.
John
10:57
Chances mike green is traded to the Capitals?
Gavin Lee
10:57
So, I've never believed this was a real possibility.
I know Green has been open to it, but it just seems like such a difficult move for those two squads to make
10:58
Unless they've been working on it for a while (which is certainly possible) it will be hard to pull off.

Do the Wild need to move someone to bring up Kunin and add Greenway (other than waiving Stewart for the salary)? If not, do they just healthy scratch two of Ennis/Winnick/Foligno/etc?
Gavin Lee
10:58
This is one thing a lot of people have overlooked when it comes to Minnesota.
10:59
Signing Greenway for the rest of the season is great, but he'll still bring a certain amount of cap hit.
Tough to add at this point.

in your opinion - as of today - who do you have in the SCF? Winner?
Gavin Lee
11:00
I think I had Calgary-Pittsburgh in the offseason.
Why not just stay with it.
(Flames have a really, really tough road.)

Does it feel like with all of the moves the Eastern Conference teams are making, that the Pens will have a lot harder time getting back to the Finals this year? Just a thought, because of CBJ, TB, Toronto, and etc.
Gavin Lee
11:01
The Atlantic is going to beat each other up in the first two rounds.
Pittsburgh still has as good a shot as anyone in the East.
Ray
11:01
Who do you see getting moved by the Lightning today? Johnson?
Gavin Lee
11:01
He was one of my dark horse trade candidates last deadline I believe.
11:02
But I don't think he'll be moved today
Derek
11:02
Do you see Vegas making any splash today or just more smaller type moves using their cap space as their biggest asset?  Like how they acquired Reeves by helping Pittsburgh afford Brassard
Gavin Lee
11:02
I'd say the latter, but could make some small additions for a playoff run.
JT
11:02
Do the ducks make any more moves? I heard jack johnson is a possibility.  Maybe pacioretty to play the wing with Getzy?
Gavin Lee
11:02
Vanek still is a good option for them I think.
11:03
Johnson wants to have an increased role, and wouldn't have that in Anaheim.
But he'd help their group.

Jarmo isn’t afraid to go big. Happy to have Letestu back, but I don’t think Columbus is done addressing the center position. Who fits and what will it cost?
Gavin Lee
11:03
I don't think they're done eithr.
Either.
11:04
Today was reported they'd asked about Anisimov (before Letestu, I think), and a player of that ilk--middle six--still seems like a possibility
Where that comes from though is tough, because centers are so few.
11:05
I do think they'd be willing to add a winger and then jumble things around.
Patrick
11:05
Not sure why you are so down on Nash to Boston. Yes he wasn't able to deliver stats wise in the playoffs, but because of that he's been very underrated and underappreciated in NY. He was easily their best forward in all phases. Never played with a 1C. Snakebit and bad luck played big role. He creates offense and commands defensive attention. He was a great get for B's.
Gavin Lee
11:05
I don't think I am "so down"
I just said it was a bit of a head scratcher.
11:06
I don't think he moves the needle a ton for that team, who were already quite talented.
He's still a good player, no doubt.
Rob
11:06
How about Connor, Roslovic, Trouba, and a 1st rounder, for Karlsson. Who would refuse first on an offer like this.
Gavin Lee
11:06
Winnipeg wouldn't do it.
