I've asked this before of others,  with no meaningful answer,  so I'll float it by you,  who takes his time to reflect:  is Bud's excellent year a byproduct of 5 years of hard work coming together,  or a big push to get the fat free agency offer?   I am suspicious of coincidences.

Assuming the Ravens and Pats are the top 2 seeds and the standings stay more or less as they are now who do the Steelers have a better chance of beating in the playoffs .... the Texans or the Chiefs?

Probably the Chiefs and here is why - they play great defense and could contain Mahomes. But the Chiefs defense stinks and the Steelers could score against them. The Texans are good on both sides of the ball

I remember in 88 we had a team that went 5-11 and we ended up drafting Tim Worley and look how that turned out. So I'm glad to see this team turn it around, you never know about Draft picks. That 5-11 team had more talent than this one. Do you think Tomlin wins coach of the year if we make the playoffs?

He absolutely should be the MVP and he should be on the running for NFL defensive player of the year as well.
