Maybe bring it down to Primanti's.

Hello, Ray. Do you have any predictions on how they will fill out the WR room before the draft?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:49
Mike Williams, Tyler Boyd. I think Hunter Renfrow is still out there. And, of course, a trade is possible with an unhappy WR.

Are the available centers worthy of a 1st round pick for the Steelers?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:49
All depends on where Andy Weidl has them ranked.

Ray - in an article last week you mentioned the Steelers had already redone D Jackson’s deal, but nothing was announced until several days ago. Was this done earlier that was announced or are you just Nostradomous?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:50
I'm Nostradomous

Hello, Ray. Every player signed is of high character. Is this random, or is it a concerted effort to end the circus atmosphere of the locker room these last few years?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:51
Omar and Andy have been trying to improve the culture.

It doesn't sound like Pickett's teammates are very sad that he's gone. I loved it when we drafted him, what happened? Play couldn't back up the moxie?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:53
It's hard to be a leader when you're not playing well. That goes for any position, but it's especially true at QB.

I'm a big Kenny fan as I'm a big Pitt fan. But I can also separate the two. It seems pretty clear to me that Kenny had an attitude issue since late last season and he hadn't been nearly good enough last season for the Steelers to even remotely tolerate it. So they bequeathed his request and traded him. Is it more complicated than that?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:53
Nope.
Jeff
2:54
Do you envision any packages with Wilson and Fields on the field at the same time
Ray Fittipaldo
2:54
A creative OC will have so much fun drawing things up.

Ray,With a dearth of d-line studs in draft, are Steelers resigned to bringing back the d-line with minimum changes?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:55
Looks that way.
Jeff

I havent felt this good going into the draft in a long time. I really feel like we can go best player available out of perhaps 4 position groups. Assuming Powers Johnson, Mims, one of the top corners, or Brian Thomas is available what would your pick be?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:56
I'd go O-line in that scenario. Mims has a higher ceiling than JPJ, but JPJ has a high floor.

We need to fill out the WR room, but in Arthur Smith's offense isn't there a greater chance that 'Muth ends up in the top 3 for targets? Greater role for Mt Washington?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:59
Muth could end up top three in targets, but I don't see Washington's role in the passing game expanding all that much.

Transfer portal babies?  That is the state of the NFL at this juncture.  But as a fan, lots more offseason intrigue. Got to luv it right Ray?
Ray Fittipaldo

That's the unfortunate aspect of this. Pickett isn't alone.
OK thanks for joining today's chat We'll do it again next Tuesday.
