I don't know about backup but I am told Warren from Oklahoma State has a chance to compete for a roster spot. Not terribly fast but strong and a hard runner.

Kinda lost amid the frenzy of the draft was the quiet signing over the weekend of solid pro Damontae Kazee. That is definitely a more proven and reliable puzzle piece than any late round DB pick. Agree?

They can tailor some things around his mobility, roll the pocket, get him throwing on the run. He's athletic enough to fit Canada's system.

I did not see him in that game. He's a fourth arm in camp. And he's a seventh-round pick. Let's not pretend more than 5% of seventh-rounds picks ever pan out.

MT clearly liked Willis, but this was KC's draft. I think this is why Pickett was picked instead of Willis. Right?

It was a popular storyline Tomlin favored Willis, but I know the Steelers liked Pickett all along. I wouldn't be so sure Tomlin favored Willis over Pickett. Seems Willis had many doubters as he was not taken until the middle of the third round.

Time will tell. Moore is going to a great place. If he's not successful with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes then he was overrated.

Ask me in five years, but I like what the Ravens did early. They got Hamilton and Linderbaum in the first round and Ojabo in the second round. He's a first-round talent who fell due to an injury.

I hate to say this but the Ravens did exceptionally well in this draft. They will have a solid D for sure, but can they win with Lamar and that run styled offense?

That's the question with them. They'll be healthier at RB this year and Mark Andrews is a very good TE. They don't have a true No. 1 WR, but Jackson really doesn't throw to WRs anyway. They'll be much better this year if Jackson can stay healthy.

Hi Ray, I do not understand why people are upset over the last pick was a QB.  My thinking there is no big difference between the last pick and signing undrafted free agents.  Do you see any difference there.

Not really unless you pass on the equivalent of Brett Keisel or Kelvin Beachum. And those guys come around like once every decade. Go through the list of seventh-round picks from 2000-2021 and I'll bet half of them failed to make the 53-man roster as rookies.
