I saw something in BBs chat yesterday about Dotson getting a performance bonus. What happens if teams are up against the cap and the NFL awards bonuses to players ?

Performance bonuses are not counted against a team's salary cap.

The team will release the entire list at once, but some agents might leak their clients in an effort to let other teams know they're available.

Sorry, I should have distinguished between performance-based pay and bonuses that are negotiated. Performance-based pay issued by the league is not counted against the cap. Any negotiated bonus in a contract does count, of course.
