Will we see many player for player trades?
Ray Fittipaldo
10:52
It's usually picks for players.

Good Morning Ray.  Who cracks the starting line up first,, Kenny Pickett or Mark Robinson?
Ray Fittipaldo
10:52
That's a good question. I'll say Pickett
Mercury
10:53
Do you expect Green to be on the 53 man roster tonight?
Ray Fittipaldo
10:53
I did not have him on my final 53-man projection, but I know how teams are when it comes to draft picks. Let's put it this way: he hasn't played well enough to be on the roster.

Hi Ray. Why is TJ Watt on the football field in the second period of the last preseason game? Doesn't he count something like 10 percent against the salary cap?
Ray Fittipaldo
10:54
You have to spar before you can box, TP Hunter. Don't you know that?
Dan
10:54
Do you think Mason Rudolph sticks with the team or is he trade bait for that left tackle ?
Ray Fittipaldo
10:54
I think he stays.
Dave
10:55
Would it surprise you to see Rudolph start at some point this season?
Ray Fittipaldo
10:55
No, not if there are injuries to 10 and 8.
The Real TP Hunter
10:55
Who is the most complete team in the AFC?
Ray Fittipaldo
10:55
I'd say the Buffalo Bills, if their coach learned how to defend 70 yards in eight seconds.

Ray, we just cut John Leglue....? He seemed like one of the only linemen with any potential...any insight?
Ray Fittipaldo
10:56
Leglue is versatile. They had him mostly at guard in camp. But he's not young. He's been around. I can see them bringing him back onto the 53 at some point or the practice squad.

Everyone's 53 man roster prediction is pretty much chalk.  What is one surprise move the Steelers make today.
Ray Fittipaldo
10:56
I'll stick with Kendrick Green.

10:56
Ray - barring injury, do you believe Pickens will exceed 1,000 receiving yards and make All-Pro?
Ray Fittipaldo
10:57
He could get to 1,000 yards, but making All-Pro as a rookie? That's almost unheard of.

What about TRADE for Andre Dilliard, Eagles LT, former 1st rounder, our new personnel head helped to draft him.
Ray Fittipaldo
10:58
I think that's a possibility if Andy Weidl believes he's an upgrade. Of course, the Eagles would have to want to trade him and get a decent draft pick in return.
Mercury
10:58
About what time today should we start seeing some player movement?
Ray Fittipaldo
10:59
Agents will start to let the media know late morning or early afternoon. The Steelers usually wait until the 4 p.m. deadline to make the cuts official.

I don’t think they’ll get a mid round pick for Rudolph either.  Quite a few fans on one of the Steelers websites advocate cutting Rudolph.
Ray Fittipaldo
11:00
That's crazy. He's a very solid backup.

CBS has Steelers waiving Mondeaux, what's your prediction on who stays on the DL?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:00
In my final 53 projection I had them keeping Heyward, Alualu, Ogunjobi, Wormley, Adams, Leal and Loudermilk.
Dan
11:01
In your opinion who has a better season statistically, Pickens or Claypool ?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:01
Pickens
Bill Maloni
11:01
Green is an undersized O-lineman. He can't grow taller.
Ray Fittipaldo
11:01
And his arms aren't going to grow any longer, either.
Jim
11:02
There had to be someone out there better that Bush and Spillane, why no FA action to get someone to play along side Jack? I like Robinson, why not just play him and let him learn, can't be worse than Ole Bush.
Ray Fittipaldo
11:02
Maybe they'll get to that eventually, but not early in the season.
Reggie
11:03
I admit I wasn't a fan of the Pickett pick in the draft, but I've been pleasantly surprised. That being said, I don't understand why fans are clamoring for him to start behind this OL.   Trubisky is more than adequate.  I think you could really damage the possible future of the franchise with the lack of protection up front, a la David Carr.  Hopefully, the line jells a bit and start Picket later.
Ray Fittipaldo
11:03
I think the Steelers and plenty of other teams think this way, too.

What is more important, getting a starting offensive lineman or keeping Rudolph.
Ray Fittipaldo
11:08
Getting a starting offensive lineman, of course. But one doesn't have anything to do with the other.

Was there any back story behind Pouncey's retirement?  It seemed like he just didn't want to do it anymore.  I didn't notice any performance drop-off..
Ray Fittipaldo
11:09
He definitely wasn't the same player later in his career. It happens to every player. Father Time eventually catches up.
