Johnson said he's fine. But we'll see what Tomlin says if he speaks to the media today or tomorrow.

I saw Wormley get some playing time on Sunday. Any idea how he looked?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:44
Wormley only played seven snaps. I don't think they feel all that comfortable giving him a lot of playing time right now. He missed a lot of camp with injuries. Isaiah Buggs only saw four snaps. The starters are playing a bunch right now.

Hi Ray, Please help me understand this issue. TJ Watt is one of the best outside linebackers in the NFL. With that being said, why is Hightower (a rookie) taking TJ's place for 11 plus plays and at least two full defensive series? On one of those series the Texans bounced outside for a TD past Hightower. What is the logic to keep a rookie in the game on goal line situations and keep one of the leagues best players on the sideline. Especially during critical situations? Thanks you

It's Highsmith. And it's because Watt plays so hard that he has to take himself out of games from time to time.

Do you know anyone who watched TB win the Cup last night?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:45
I do not. I was watching MNF

Do you think Sutton returns next year?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:45
Possibly, if they don't re-sign Mike Hilton.

Explain to me how you call a pass play when your are 2nd down and on the 1 yard line and you have 2 all pro offensive linemen side by side.  Unbelievable Fitchner's play calling.

Mike Munchak once told me it's easier to pass it in from the 1 than run it in.

With more offensive hands then there are balls to go around, how does this group seem to be handling the overall roles? Obviously cutting out two notable locker room cancers has helped, but have you sensed any sort of frustration from the offensive players?

Not yet. It's interesting. JuJu leads the team with 160 receiving yards. That's 43rd in the league. Two years ago, he was fifth in the league. And yet he is still making an impact. They've been able to spring him for some big plays in each of the first three games. Not big-gainers but impactful touchdowns at critical junctures in the games. It's working.

The Steelers just announced Mike Tomlin will be available via a zoom call at 6 pm tonight. He usually talks at noon on Tuesdays.

Everyone knows that you call a double reserve on 2nd and goal from the 1😂

Gotta feel bad for Tomlin and his challenges. He finally makes a good challenge and it's still not overturned. What does he have to do to win a challenge in a game?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:50
For starters, he has to know which types of plays New York overturns. They almost never overturn spots.

I like the fact that two receivers are not getting 90% of the catches like they did with Brown and JuJu.  More for the defense to worry about?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:51
Exactly. Spread the wealth. Like I said, it's working so far. I am sure they'll need a big game from him a WR at some point, but they haven't needed it yet.

Do they have any plays for McCloud on offense?  I saw he got some snaps.
Ray Fittipaldo

At some point they'll try to spring him on an end around or a reverse. He's good in the open field.
OK thanks for all the great questions this week. Let's do it again next week when we may or may not be discussing a game against the Titans.
