It doesn't happen often, but it certainly didn't take the Bills very long to score on the Steelers defense. Talk about quick-strike. The Bills had a one-strike offense against the Bills. Pretty much everything OC Ken Dorsey called worked.

Good afternoon Ray.  Do you think the Steelers might send a message to Claypool about his lackluster play by benching him for a game or two?  Thanks.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:26
Seeing he played over 90% of the snaps against the Bills, I doubt it. Who are they going to turn to? Miles Boykin.
Steel Russel
2:26
Any chance we could move on from DJ fumble fingers?  Anything above a 4th round pick could help build the O Line for next year.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:26
They just signed him to a big contract.

is TJ Watt too soft-spoken or laid back to be a leader in changing or restoring  the present Steeler culture which is being recognized by newcomers as lacking a competitive  cohesive attitude?. Other than Cam and Kenny, is there a shortfall in player-driven  leadership?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:27
It's hard to lead when you're injured. Others have to step up in that capacity when he's out.

Do you think Mr Rooney would step in and demand coaching changes be made if they are 1 and 8 and looking bad?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:28
Not at that point, but the Rooneys are not shy about demanding changes to the coaching staff. They've done in plenty of times over the years.

Hi Ray - Levi Wallace had a couple of terrible plays and a couple of really good plays. What makes him so wildly inconsistent?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:28
You can say that about a lot of corners in this league. It's one of the toughest positions to play.

Hi Ray - Myles Jack seemed like a wonderful gift that fell out of the sky. Looks like has played ok, but has not stood out like I thought he would. Thoughts?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:29
Fair assessment, but I don't think he's played bad. The entire defense just has not performed well on the whole.

Hi Ray!!!!!   How about Pittsburgh vs Detroit in the Super Bowl played in Toledo!!!!!! Cheap tickets!!!!!!

Back when I was a kid they called such a matchup the repus bowl. Or the toilet bowl.

Have your heard or does it look like Calvin Austin will get a hat this week? It would be good see what he has in game. Could use a sure handed receiver in the mix, if that is the case with him
Ray Fittipaldo
2:32
He still has another 14 days until they have to make a decision on him. So I guess it depends on what he shows in practice this week. This offense could use an infusion of talent at this point.

Canada should have been fired last year when twice he called a pass to Najee in the flat on 4th & 10 with 3 or 4 defenders on him. Canada replied, "we just didn't have any other plays." Agree?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:32
Yes.

Ray, if there were a contest, the KG pick could win an award for one of the worst draft picks (and anointed starter) in the history of sports, no?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:33
It was a bad pick, but in the history of sports? No.

We now know that Pickett will be playing and that TJ will be out until the bye. So, what’s your latest prediction for the Steelers final record.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:36
4-9-4

2:36
Ray, does Canada make it past the bye week?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:37
If any coach can be fired midseason by the Steelers, it's Canada. But I doubt it. They'll likely wait until the season is over.

Hi Ray, do you see Warren getting more snaps this week? He seems to be more effective than Najee.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:38
Tomlin basically said today he will continue to play Warren. Didn't promise more snaps or carries or anything like that, but if you're asking me I say yes play him more. He's been better so play the better guy.

Ray, is it a coach's fault when a WR blows past two well-positioned DBs on his way to a 98-yard gallop?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:39
Well-positioned?
Mike Brown
2:39
Do you think the new GM and the new personnel guy from the Eagles will help improve the players the Steelers choose?  The results from recent draft have not been very promising.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:40
That's why Omar hired Weidl and brought in Sheldon White. If he wanted the status quo he would have keep everyone who worked under Colbert.

The team is clearly in rebuild mode.  That means you must evaluate everything.  So far Tomlin has shown he can't draft, can't develop players, can't maintain discipline, can't game plan, can't make in game adjustments, can't hire coaches, can't manage the clock, can't make good challenges, and won't change.  Tell me why he is the man to lead this rebuild??
Ray Fittipaldo
2:41
Because he's never had a non-losing season?
2:42
Ha ha just kidding. He coached this team to a Super Bowl win and another Super Bowl appearance. He's underachieved for the past decade, but the Steelers love to have coaching stability. So he's going to get a chance to see this rebuild through. Or at least beyond this season.

If you could upgrade one spot on the OL, which would it be?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:42
Center, guard and tackle.
Hi Ray
2:43
In the event anyone is debating the relative value of a Coach vs a QB, do you think the Patriots and Steelers have put that to bed?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:43
If not, it's getting tucked in.

Hi Ray,  Has there been any follow up on Arthur Maulet's accusation of teammates laughing on the sidelines? Basically, who, when, and why.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:44
Not yet, but we'll find out. Maulet did not speak with reporters Monday when he was in the locker room for a short period.
