I think Claypool is built to be a slot guy, with Johnson and Washington as wideouts. Do you think that could be their plan moving forward?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:45
They all have some versatility and I think you'll see that versatility be put to use.

Ben staves off retirement one more week.... but he sure got lucky too.   Your thoughts Ray?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:46
That game definitely changes if the Broncos catch a couple of those INTs.

TJ did not seem to be getting great penetration Sunday.  How do you think he played?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:47
I'm still not convinced he's 100%. But I did think he was more noticeable against the Broncos than against the Packers.

Who you taking the men of Steel or the squawking birds this Sunday night?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:48
Leaning Steelers, mostly due to the fact that Russell Wilson is not playing.

With all the injuries on both sides of the ball, how likely would you say it is we sign outside help of any kind?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:49
I think you'll see a receiver added to either the practice squad or 53-man roster this week.

Looking into the future. What position will the Steelers address with their 1st  pick in next years draft?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:49
Hard to say at this point because we don't know where they'll be drafting. I do think offensive line will be a priority for them. Not sure if it's with the first pick though.

Do you think the Steelers trust Cody White enough to give him a legitimate shot at getting a lot of snaps?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:50
We'll probably find out this week. He can't drop more passes though. Had a chance at a big play against the Broncos and didn't make it.

After trying to not do what the OC and HC wanted him to do, Ben finally decided to be part of the team.  Those short passes on 4th down, in early games were examples of Ben's definance. Your thoughts?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:51
Defiance in what sense? He was carrying out the plays that were called.

I see A LOT being made about mobile QB's lately. That doesnt necessarily mean a running Qb it could be pocket mobility. It's still the pocket QB's winning super bowls IMO what about you?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:52
I think that's true. Guys like Herbert can run and create room with the pocket to gain that extra second to make a throw. That's what you need.

Then why did the OC and HC, both state that there were open receivers available that Ben ignored.
Ray Fittipaldo

Maybe Ben just made a bad read. I'm not going to accuse him of sabotage. A better question might be why is Harris one of the first options on those plays? First options should be guys running down the first-down marker.

OK thanks for all the questions this week. We'll do it again next Tuesday.
