Would the Coach Butler ever consider "looping" the edge rushers inside to try and disrupt Brady this week? Or will we need to rely on Heyward, Tuitt, and Hargrave to provide the needed inside pressure?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:13
Sometimes you just have to beat your guy. It comes down to that. The Steelers might try some stunts to create pressure, but it's going to be up to the defensive linemen to create that pressure on their own, too.

Could Mike Tomlin and Kevin Colbert convince Lawrence Timmons to walk off the field tonight, Blount style and possibly find his way back to Pittsburgh?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:14
Now that would be out of the Belichick playbook.

why isn't James Harrison playing when we can't stop the run?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:14
Harrison was in there Sunday night. Don't know the exact snap count, but he played more than I thought he would.

Did Chickillo play last night? I don't recall hearing his name called.
Ray Fittipaldo
12:15
I saw him on special teams. Don't recall seeing him play on defense.

Game plans vs the Patriots.   Watch what other teams have done to beat them, or watch your own films from the past 4 games and wonder what to change?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:15
That's all part of it. You have to be ale to copy some things from other teams that have been successful. Then you have to fold that into what you do as a defense.

Any advantage to having NE on their 3rd straight away game coming off of a Monday night?  The Dolphins laid some good hits on Brady last time they played, 15 days ago
Ray Fittipaldo
12:17
Maybe. But nothing seems to slow the Patriots down. That is an interesting schedule they have though.

NFL has problems. Why did the owners extend Rogers contract to a BIG salary? I don't want to hear he has made the owners $$.  The image is terrible. Refs are terrible, suspensions/ overturned suspensions are unbelievable & fighting is uncontrollable. Don't understand

You'd have to ask Art Rooney II. He's on the compensation committee and apparently did not like what Jerry Jones did. It seems like Rooney was on board with the new contract. Listen, the vast majority of owners are happy because they're raking in the money. Jones got upset because Goodell ruled against Elliott. We can complain all we want, but unless the players take a stand and strike for better conditions we're going to keep getting what we're getting in terms of the on-field product.

Do you think after last nights performance we may have seen the last of James Harrison in meaningful situations. He looks old and slow last night
Ray Fittipaldo
12:20
Not sure what they were expecting. He hadn't played in more than a month. They had a lot of players on that defense in that situation last night. Not ideal.

Given that it's so difficult to beat the same team twice in a season, much less the Patriots even once, would it make any sense to play our bench jockeys next week and save the starters and our strategy for the playoff?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:21
There it is! The question of the week.

Do you believe Coach Butler will employ more man coverage this week or stick with the zone? If they go man, who covers Cooks?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:22
They talked about it all offseason. Might as well unleash it now thugh not sure how effective it will be with Coty Sensabaugh playing in man coverage as opposed to Joe Haden.

I sure would love to see Baltimore going into New England in the divisional round, they may be able to take care of Brady for us, I don't see this defense doing it

The Ravens have been a bad matchup for the Pats in the past. I'm kind of intrigued by the Chargers going in there with that pass rush, too. Maybe even the Jags although the Titans fading down the stretch probably eliminates that as a possibility.
Thanks for all the great questions this week. We'll do it again next week after the Patriots game.
